Greenmarket Bike Tours

The air is crisp, the leaves are changing colors, and the farmers' markets are on the cusp of Fall and the peak harvest season! Work up an appetite as we bike Manhattans neighborhood Greenmarkets and enjoy Fall's bounty. All this means that now is the best time to EAT!

Greenways and Greenmarkets -- Saturday, October 24th

Join GrowNYC and Bike NY on a tour of Manhattan’s greenways and Greenmarkets! Beginning with a complimentary breakfast, (including fresh cider!) in Inwood, Manhattan courtesy of the local Greenmarket we will explore three unique markets (Inwood, Tucker square, and Tribeca). Along the way we’ll meet a Greenmarket Founding Farmer who has been operating since the first market in 1976, taste delicious samples, receive a tour of Greenmarket’s compost and textile recycling program, and learn about GrowNYC’s extensive network of farms, Greenmarkets and their sustainability education program. All this while enjoying beautiful river and city views and watching the leaves change as we travel down the Hudson River Greenway, the crown jewel of NYC bike paths.
