Did you know that 5.7% of NYC's residential waste is textiles yet they are 100% Recyclable! Recycle your unwanted textile materials at the Union Square Greenmarket every Monday 8AM - 6PM through December 2008!

Textiles are collected EVERY Monday from 8 A.M to 6 P.M. on Union Square West near 15th Street. Acceptable donations include used clothing, shoes, boots, hats, jackets, towels, bedding, and linens. Goodwill will provide receipts upon request for those who may want to use their donation as a charitable contribution.
Please note that textile collections may need to be temporarily suspended when the reconstruction of the north end of Union Square begins this year.
